hmmm... watched my sister's hockey game yesterday...

score? ice cats: 3, wingers:5

my sister plays for the wingers and they won... not to brag or bask in the glory... but... the wingers really did put up a very good fight... and to think they only had 7 players last night... including the goalie!!! but coach paul handled them well... changed players often so that the players dont tire themselves out...

bad calls were made... foul play was seen with no call... but hey!!! i guess that doesnt really matter since the won anyway... they won with fair play and intense sportsmanship... ...not that im saying the other team doesnt have those... *shrugs*

anyway...

my sister has outdone herself this time... she just started learning how to skate and how to play hockey just may of last year... sure she's not that fast or good yet but she really did NOT take the odds against her on her back... she went on the ice and took on those ice cats during face offs and really got the puck to her team... i can't really give a good write up on the game because i really dont know much about the rules, terms and stuff so i would just have to try again......

anyway...

the point is... my sister really did play well... she showed utter determination and sheer perseverance last night... and i'm damn well proud of her!!!

hockey is determination that's what she said coach paul said to her...

i'm glad she realizes that...

so i'll end this post with a big shout out for the WINGERS!!! COACH PAUL AND KEZIAH MY SISTER FOR SHOWING US WHAT HOCKEY IS ALL ABOUT AND FOR WINNING THE GAME AGAINST THE ICE CATS!!! keep the good work up guys!!!
